We headed to the weekly grower’s market again this past weekend, having been really fortunate with great weather during this changing of the seasons. And once again, taking it on foot as opposed to tooling around in my car makes it alllllll a new adventure.
I open with, of all things, a gelateria! Yes, Manja Mexi Movie, it’s here in my (almost) back yard waiting for you! Though I’ve not tried it, I’m told the owner is from Italy and knows his gelato! I’ll keep you posted if it’s legit 🙂

A HUGE LOVE for this post!!! Just look at this collection: every photo is special, taken and viewed with a little smile. Such amazing doors and entranced, quite European, you’re right. And not one but two gelaterie waiting for me! 🙂 How thoughtful! I’ll comment under my favourites. ❤ Great stuff!!!
Thanks Manja! I do think of you in all of my door travels 🙂 And yes, it is a bit reminiscent of our time together in Rome (and Orvieta/Bagnoregio)! Always a bit of a shame that we live an ocean apart 🙂
We’ll be heading out to a few of our local markets and orchards this weekend too. This really is my favorite time of year.
I love the variety and the European feel to many of these doors – awesome collection. Bravo!
Way too many doors and other shots to even contemplate commenting on, but the orange/yellow and the 224 blue are the ones that won my heart and I love the flowers in the first shot. I’m loving the farmers market, too, on Saturday morning. Delicious!
Great selection of doors. You had me hooked at the gelaterie with the heavenly pink and blue flowers, and colorful shutters decorating the brick building. You will find me on this corner.
